Breaking News: Tension in Enugu over alleged arrest of Rev Fr Mbaka

There is atmosphere of uncertainty in Enugu over the whereabout of the Enugu Catholic priest and Founder of Adoration Ministries,Rev Father Ejike Mbaka.


Rev Father Ejike Mbaka has been at daggers drawn with some officials of the federal government over his recent prophecy that President Buhari should resign over heightening insecurity in Nigeria. But some agents of the government said his criticisms was becaused he failed to secure contracts from President Buhari. 


The Authority gathered that his parishioners who went for the usual Tuesday night prayers that usually lights up till Wednesday morning,were worried that Mbaka did not conduct the prayers,,without any satisfactory reasons.


Inside sources who don’t want to be quoted in print disclosed to them that Mbaka drove off from the adoration ground early on Tuesday morning to see the Catholic Bishop of Enugu,Most Rev.Callistus Onaga on invitation.


Uncomfirmed reports have it that Mbaka was quizzed by security agencies as he tried to driven into Bishop Onaga’s residence,at Independence layout to an unknown destination.


Consequent upon this development the Adoration ministry  parishioners,equipped with the assertions that Mbaka was quizzed at Bishop Onaga’s gate by security agents, staged a protest which they took to Bishop Onaga’s house,demanding for Rev.Mbaka.


The Authority gathered the protesting  parishioners as at the time of fi!ing this report has damaged some physical structures in Bishop Onaga’s house.


Text messages and phone calls put across to the Enugu state Police Public Relations Officer,(PPRO),Ndukwe and the Enugu Catholic diocese Communication director, Rev Father Ben Achi, to comment on this development, as at the time of fi!ing this report was not successful. They did not respond to their calls and WhatsApp messages.
