Royal father, residents, laud NYSC’s free medical services in C/River

The clan head of Odukpani Local Government Area in Cross River State, His Royal Highness, Ntoe Cyril Omin Okima, has discribed the free medical services rendered to his people by the NYSC as one of the most  laudable programmes enjoyed by residents of Odukpani in recent times. 

He made the remark  while appreciating NYSC for directing her second phase of Health Initiative for Rural Dwellers (HIRD) programme to his domain, adding that the entire beneficiaries couldn’t hide their Joy and satisfaction on the gesture .  

Earlier in his remarks, the State Co-ordinator of NYSC Cross River State, Mr. Zemoh Andrew, who was  represented by the Head of Press and Public Relations, Mr. Peter Enuma, revealed that apart from making impact through educational development, building rural infrastructure and boosting agriculture,  the scheme has committed resources and manpower towards uplifting people, especially those in  rural areas out of health challenges  through provision of free medical services. 

The State Co-ordinator also promised that more LGAs will also benefit from the free medical services in the the next phases of the programme.
