A community leader and national president, Good Governance Mobilisation for Buhari, comrade Yahaya Egbunu said the aspiration of Dr. Mathias Byuan to contest as the next governor of Benue state Under the All Progressive Congress (APC) is to enable him serve the people.
Comrade Yahaya made this assertion on Sunday in Abuja at a press briefing, stating the anticidents of Dr. Mathias Byuan were such that the party officials should trust him with the ticket to contest the election in 2023.
He said, “Dr. Mathias Byuan has came to serve the people of Benue state. He is a man of honour, a philanthropist, a man who believe in the future of the Benue youths and women.
“He has the experience and capacity to govern Benue given his background in the cooperate world”.
Comrade Yahaya who passed a vote of confidence on Dr. Mathias Byuan for what he called his exceptional leadership attributes and disposition to good governance, resolved to work assiduously for his election come 2023.
