Senate confirms Senator Ayogu Eze as Fed. Commissioner, RMAFC.

The immediate past senator of Enugu North senatorial district,Senator Ayogu Eze,has been appointed as federal commissioner for Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission(RMFAC).

His appointment along with five others where confirmed by the senate based on the  adoption of the report of the Senate Committee on National Planning and Economic Affairs at plenary on Wednesday.

The others confirmed as Federal Commissioners of RMAFC are Peter Opara (Imo) Hauwa Umar Aliyu (Jigawa),Rakiya Tanko Haruna (Kebbi), Ismail Mohammed (Kwara) and Kolade Abimbola (Oyo).

Senator Ayogu Eze represented Enugu North senatorial district in the National assembly(2007 -2015) on the platform of PDP,later resigned his membership of PDP to join All Progessives congress(APC).He emerged as the Enugu state governorship candidate of APC in the 2019 Enugu state governorship election.

Prior to his election to the senate,Senator Ayogu Ezeh served as commissioner for information under Ex governor Chimaroke Nnamani in Enugu state.

The journalist cum politician practised his journalism carrier with the defunt Newswatch Magazine(weekly),Guardian Newspaper,etc ,before he went into active politics.
