It was a night of celebration and recognition at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja as the 2025 edition of the African Iconic Women Recognition Awards (AIWR) brought together distinguished individuals from across various sectors to honour excellence, leadership, and national impact. Among the notable honorees was Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Priscillia Thomas, who received the Young Iconic Security Personnel of the Year award.
DSP Thomas, visibly elated by the recognition, expressed deep gratitude to the award organizers and those who nominated her. In her remarks, she described the award as not only a personal achievement but also a symbol of progress and empowerment for women in law enforcement and security roles.
