Former Deputy Governor Emeka Sibeudu, who doubles as the Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, has issued a passionate appeal to eligible sons and daughters of Igboland to register as voters in the ongoing exercise.

In a recent press statement titled “A Call to Register Our Vote, Our Voice,” Sibeudu emphasized that registering to vote is crucial for determining the future of the land and its children.

“Political power begins with the ability to vote. If we must be part of the decision-making process that determines who governs us, then we must first be registered,” he advised.

The Ohaneze Ndigbo leader stressed that development, security, representation, and dignity depend on engagement with this civic duty. He urged traditional rulers, town union leaders, youth groups, religious institutions, and community influencers to spread the message and mobilize their communities to register.

“The era of sitting on the sidelines is over,” Sibeudu declared,” adding: “The time to act is now.”

Sibeudu’s call to action aims to empower the Igbo people to take responsibility for their future through active participation in the electoral process.
