Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Christians across the state, describing the celebration of the Nativity as a period that underscores selfless love, humility and commitment to the service of humanity.
In a goodwill message conveyed through his Special Adviser on Media, Hon. Ismaila Isah, the Governor reflected on the spiritual significance of the season, noting that the birth of Jesus Christ urges believers to embrace patience, tolerance, goodwill and other virtues that promote peaceful coexistence and communal harmony.
Governor Ododo said the enduring values associated with Christmas are essential to the continued development of Kogi State, calling on citizens to sustain the spirit of brotherhood, moderation and shared responsibility as foundations for lasting peace and progress.
He added that his administration remains firmly guided by these ideals in its drive for good governance, maintenance of public order and the steady growth of the state, driven by inclusive policies focused on the overall welfare of the people.
