A significant event is set to take place in the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency, of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where the member representing the constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika urges citizens to avail themselves the opportunity to participate in the amendment process of the 1999 Constitution. Organized by Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika himself, the session aims to engage citizens in the review of the constitution, which is the backbone of Nigeria’s democracy.

The session, according to a press statement from Hon. Obika Media Group on Tuesday, will cover key areas, including electoral reforms, local government autonomy, fundamental rights, and social policies. Citizens will have the chance to contribute to shaping laws that will impact their daily lives, from education and security to infrastructure and representation within AMAC/Bwari.

The event will also provide clarification on key changes, dispelling misinformation and ensuring that citizens understand exactly what the amendments mean for them and their families. Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika and legal experts will be on hand to provide first-hand explanations.

In addition to constitutional review, community development issues will also take center stage. Citizens will have the opportunity to learn about ongoing and upcoming projects in the constituency and contribute to setting developmental priorities.

The session will also promote accountability and representation, allowing citizens to interact with their lawmaker, ask questions, express concerns, and provide feedback. This will help build trust and ensure transparency between citizens and their elected representatives.

The event will bring together community leaders, youth groups, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders, creating opportunities for partnerships that can drive real change in AMAC/Bwari.

Citizens are urged to attend the session and make their voices heard. By participating, citizens can shape the future of Nigeria and contribute to the development of their constituency. Don’t miss this opportunity to invest in the future of democracy and development in AMAC/Bwari.
