TIHSEPA targets health sector votes for Tinubu’s re-election

By Daniel Tyokua

The Tinubu Health Sector Practitioners Alliance (TIHSEPA) has stepped up its mobilisation drive for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, pledging to rally healthcare professionals and stakeholders nationwide behind his 2027 ambition.

The National Coordinator of the alliance, Dr. Ogechi Lokpobiri, said the group would intensify engagements across primary and secondary healthcare institutions to secure massive support for the President.

Lokpobiri, wife of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, made the pledge while congratulating Tinubu on the successful launch of his campaign in Kaduna State.

She described the massive turnout at the event as a reflection of growing confidence in the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda and its ongoing reforms.

According to her, the Kaduna campaign launch has renewed the group’s determination to expand its nationwide mobilisation and communicate the administration’s achievements in the health sector.

She said the alliance would engage healthcare workers, medical practitioners and other stakeholders to build support for the President ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda recognises that the health of Nigerians is fundamental to the country’s productivity, prosperity and future.

“Investments in healthcare infrastructure, professional training, maternal health and insurance coverage provide a foundation for building a stronger health system,” she said.

Lokpobiri reaffirmed TIHSEPA’s commitment to promoting the administration’s achievements and mobilising health-sector professionals to support Tinubu’s second-term ambition.

She added that a second term would provide an opportunity to consolidate ongoing reforms, sustain investments and improve healthcare delivery across the country.
