Election Victory: Three Communities Rejoice With House Leader

… As He Receives Supporters Who Trekked Kilometres On Foot

The Majority Leader of House of Representatives, Honourable Alhassan Ado Doguwa, has continued to savour his victory in last Saturday’s supplementary election in Tudu Wada/Doguwa Federal Constituency as leaders of three major communities in the area, on Tuesday, stormed his Kano residence to rejoice with him.

They described the victory as well-deserved and a reflection of the peoples’ wish.

Leaders of communities who came from Burum Burundi, Doguwa and Tudun Wada Local Government. Area hailed the House Leader for initiating people-oriented policies that impacted positively on the lives of the down-trodden in the constituency.

They were at the House Majority Leader’s Kano residence in Gadun Albasa, stating reasons for their visit to include a show of solidarity on his recent victory during the supplementary election .

Among the delegation include, Alhaji Garba Najume, Special Assistant to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, who led the people of Tudun Wada and Alhaji Dalha Teacher Rufai.

They both extolled the virtues of the House leader who has spent a fortune on empowering women and youths in their communities.

They noted that, ” we are indeed happy that Allah in his infinite mercy has answered all our prayers and delivered you to stage a return to the House.”

The Community leaders expressed confidence that Honourable Alhassan Ado, “is going to be the next Speaker in God’s name noting that given his thirty two years experience of active legislative function, he would do everything possible to demonstrate good leadership example.”

Responding, Alhassan Ado Doguwa thanked the Doguwa/Tudun Wada Communities for the Solidarity visit and promised to continue from where he stopped as far as human empowerment is concerned.

” I have done my best in confronting the challenges faced by the youths and women given their position as the most vulnerable group in the Society.

” I struggled to find jobs for the Doguwa, Tudun wada youths within the period of my stewardship, we have uncountable number of Police Officers, Immigration, NSCDC, CBN, FIRS officials who gained employment through my personal efforts,” he said.

He added that, “I will do everything possible to give more opportunities to the teeming youths from this area by way of sending and supporting them to achieve their mission educational wise.”

Meanwhile the leader also received two ardent supporters who trekked from Tudun Wada to Kano on foot to pay solidarity to him over his victory at the polls thanking them for the painstaking efforts .
