The Institute of Management and Technology(IMT),Enugu,ranks among the best institutions of technology in Nigeria. It was established about fifty years ago,precisely on July 1.1973,The institution boasts to have produced quality graduates WHo competes favourably in their areas of specialisation globally.
In what appears to be’Home Coming’,the Alumni of IMT plans a give back to their alma mateur as part of events to mark 50th annivary of IMT,scheduled to hold from November 21 to November 25.
The event is being packaged by the Management/Governing Council of IMT in collaboration with the Alumni of the institution.
The current President of IMT Alumni,Mazi Agodi Kanu told ‘The Authority South East Post,that the Alumni will use the opportunity of the fiftieth anniversary celebration to launch for the construction of a mini track and field stadium with estimated 5,000 seating capacity that would bequathed to the institution on completion.
The Authority South East Post checks revealed that the Institute of Management and Technology(IMT) 50th anniversary celebration will also be marked with a convocation lecture,Charity visits and awaards to some Nigerians who have distinguished themselves meritoriously in service to humanity.
in addition to celebrating IMT at 50 and making input to infrastructural development through construction of ‘IMT Alumni mini stadium, Mazi Agodi Kanu revealed that his leadership plans to unveil an insurance scheme for all registered members and also an education advancement scheme.
