Osborn Nweze Umahi, the talented entrepreneur and son of David Umahi, the former Governor of Ebonyi State and current Minister of Works, has been making waves with his latest venture, Osborn La Palm Resort.
The five-star resort, located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has become a hotspot for Nigeria’s business elites within just a few months of its launch.
Osborn Nweze who graduated from Surrey University in the United Kingdom with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering in 2019, went on to earn a master’s degree in Finance and Investment Management from Aberdeen University in 2022.
Despite working under his father’s tutelage in managing Brass Oil and Construction Limited, Osborn Nweze has also tried his hand at independent entrepreneurship and has excelled in the hospitality industry with the success of Osborn La Palm Resort.
The resort has attracted high-profile visitors such as Chief Dr. Obinna Iyiegbu, aka Obi Cubana, a renowned billionaire businessman and the Chairman of the Cubana Group Limited. Comedian Ayo Makun, aka AY, and the CEO of Corporate World Entertainment, have also been among the dignitaries who have patronized the resort recently.
In addition, Chief Emeka Okonkwo, aka E-Money, the Chairman of Five Star Group Limited, and Dr. Kennedy Okonkwo, Africa’s leading real estate mogul, have also been seen enjoying the amenities at the Osborn La Palm Resort.
