The Minister said, “The people of Bwari, thank you for coming out under this sun to receive us.And I did say, under the government of president Bola Tinubu we will give Bwari the necessary support.

“When we do our own part, you will do your own part. Remember, this is the first administration in the history of this country that has come to the people to ask you: what do you want? You remember when we had a town hall meeting?

The traditional rulers, the youth leaders, our women—they said in one voice that they want this, and they want that, and we said we are going to provide them for you. Have we provided them?

“Remember, I said when I came here for campaign recently, the week of that election, I said as the winner that the incumbent chairman should let us know what we are going to do for the people of Bwari Now listen, we have to be careful. There are those now whose duty is to deceive themselves” He said.

On his part, the chairman-elect for Bwari Area Council, Joshua Ishaku commended Wike for his humility and commitment to the welfare of Bwari people.
