An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and Information Technology expert, Engr. Abdullahi Ramat, has congratulated the Special Adviser to the President on Political and Other Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari, on his international recognition at the 16th African Business Leadership Awards (ABLA) held in London, United Kingdom.
Ramat described the honour as a fitting recognition of Masari’s commitment to exemplary leadership, public service and good governance, saying the award reflects a lifetime dedicated to integrity, humility and service to humanity.
In a statement, Ramat said, “In every generation, Almighty Allah raises men whose influence is not measured merely by the offices they occupy, but by the values they uphold, the confidence they inspire, and the countless lives they touch through selfless service. Such men do not seek recognition; rather, recognition finds them because their character, sacrifices, and commitment to humanity speak louder than titles or positions.”
He added that Masari’s international recognition was well deserved, noting that it validated years of dedicated public service.
“Today, I write with immense pride and heartfelt gratitude as one of the many individuals whose life has been inspired by the exemplary leadership of His Excellency Alh. Ibrahim Kabiru Masari. His remarkable journey of service has now received the global recognition it truly deserves,” he said.
According to Ramat, the award presented during the African Business Leadership Awards was an affirmation of Masari’s enduring contributions to leadership, national development and public service.
“For those of us who have followed his public service over the years, this recognition is not merely an award, it is a well-deserved affirmation of a lifetime devoted to integrity, patriotism, humility, and the service of others,” he stated.
He praised Masari’s role as Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Political and Other Matters, describing him as a dependable public servant who has consistently provided strategic political guidance while promoting national cohesion and democratic development.
Ramat further commended Masari’s loyalty to President Tinubu, saying his dedication, honesty and discretion have earned him widespread respect.
“He has consistently demonstrated that genuine leadership is built on trust, consistency, sacrifice, and character rather than personal ambition,” he said.
The APC stalwart also highlighted Masari’s humanitarian interventions, educational support and mentorship of young people, saying these initiatives have positively impacted many communities across the country.
He noted that beyond politics, Masari’s humility and accessibility have continued to inspire many Nigerians.
“Perhaps what inspires many of us most is not simply what he has achieved, but who he is. His humility despite prominence, his accessibility despite responsibility, and his willingness to lift others while expecting nothing in return are qualities that have earned him admiration far beyond politics,” Ramat said.
He observed that Masari was among several prominent African leaders honoured during the ceremony, alongside Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Prof. Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye, Governor of the Bank of Sierra Leone, Henry Falla Saamoi, and President of the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID), George Agyekum Donkor.
Ramat also noted that Masari received a Special Congressional Commendation from the South Carolina House of Representatives in recognition of his contributions to public service and leadership.
Congratulating the presidential aide on the twin honours, Ramat prayed for greater accomplishments in his service to the nation.
