Dr. Odiraa Nwankwor, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA( Candidate for Orumba North/South Federal Constituency, Anambra State, has congratulated Dr. Godwin Maduka, (the Okosisi Orumba, and the people of Umuchukwu) on the historic approval of the Transatlantic University of Medicine and Health Sciences by the National Universities Commission, NUC.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of his family, supporters, and teeming members of APGA across Orumba North and South, Dr. Nwankwor described the development as a landmark achievement for the entire constituency.
“This remarkable achievement is a testament to Dr. Maduka’s unwavering commitment to educational excellence, human capital development, and sustainable community advancement,” Dr. Nwankwor stated.
He noted that the establishment of the university is not only a monumental milestone for Umuchukwu in Orumba South Local Government Area, but also a transformative development for Orumba, Anambra State, and Nigeria at large.
According to him, the Transatlantic University will serve as a centre of academic excellence, medical innovation, research, and global learning. He added that it will also create employment opportunities and attract investments to the area.
“The university will position our constituency as a destination for quality education and healthcare,” he said, stressing that the institution will have far-reaching benefits for the people.
Dr. Nwankwor commended Dr. Goodwin Maduka for his visionary leadership and selfless investment in the future of the people. He said his dedication continues to inspire hope and demonstrates what is possible when individuals choose to give back to society.
He also congratulated the people of Umuchukwu, saying their community has once again been placed on the global map through this landmark achievement.
