Ahead of 2023 general elections and in view of the importance of Mbaitolu Local Government Area of Imo State in the politics of the State and Nigeria at large, a group under the auspices of Mbaitoli APC Peace Resolution Frontiers is canvassing for a leadership blueprint that would reposition the council area for greater political involvement and positioning.
Hon. Emma Mezie who’s the founder and Coordinator of the group said in his press statement on Sunday that the group is constituted mainly by political progressives in Mbaitoli politics that want to sincerely harmonize the fracture in Mbaitoli APC leadership.
Mezie who is an astute politician and a renowned political strategist, pointed out that the organization is committed in ensuring that every selfish and personal interests among members of the group and APC must be addressed so as to create a decent political decorum.
He vehemently cautioned against leadership factions and internal intrigues and wrangling against the unity of members which he insisted must be meticulously addressed to ensure the victory of APC in Mbaitoli.
According to Hon. Mezie popularly known as hapuru m Ogbaku in political circle “pretence and cosmetic non-consolidated peace cannot be done by these unguided leadership. APC in Mbaitoli is in dire need of youthful management leadership. Not a gang of leaders that do not carry the next generation along. Mbaitoli leadership position in Imo state is ridiculous. Mbaitoli has suffered in voiceless and non-respected leadership and there’s absolute need to have a change,” the political oracle advised.
He further observed that the middle class leaders in Mbaitolu are suppressed due to the gimmicks of the recycled old leaders to sustain their lack of vision leadership positions by force.
Mezie pointed out that the age long antics have not benefitted the council area but rather have earned them mockery before political leaders in the state and Nigeria at large.
He expressed gratitude to the progressives in APC that are willing to make the sacrifices in order to rebuild the political party for greater exploits and benefits to all and sundry while urging the members to ponder and sleep over this new vision of inclusiveness, a concept he said, would lead to absolute reconciliation and victory.
