Deputy Speaker woes Imo electorates for Uzodimma’s re-election bid

Barely three days to the Imo State Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC off circle gubernatorial election, His Excellency, Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu has thrown his weight behind the re-election ambition of Governor Hope Uzodimma advising the State electorates on the need to re-elect the Shared Prosperity Governor.

Kalu who’s the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Abuja made this known during a press briefing organized on his behalf by his aides Dr. Cliff Ogbede, Dr. Jerry Nwohu and Dr. Timothy Ihemadu, who are his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Special Adviser on Inter Party Affairs and the Consultant office of the Deputy Speaker respectively at a prestigious hotel in Owerri.

The Deputy Speaker passionately advised Ndimo to vote en masse for Governor Uzodimma in the overall interest of the State and South East in general, especially in view of his strategic positions in the present APC ruled Federal Government.

According to him, ” Governor Hope Uzodimma re-election will be more beneficial to Ndimo and the entire South East region in general. The Deputy Speaker and his team are totally in support of Uzodimma’s Re-election bid and will continue to partner with the Governor and the State by attracting more federal government presence in the State” he assured.

He enlisted most of the Governor’s Shared Prosperity legacy projects to include road revolution and urban renewal programs, educational, health care and agricultural developments, special Imo Skills up program, reconstruction and recovery of government assets and many more.

Kalu reiterated the need to give the Governor another chance to complete his second tenure constitutional right so as to sustain his administration’s developmental strides as a performing Governor.

The Deputy Speaker who said he will accompanied the Governor and the State APC family at the grand finale of the Governorship campaign in Owerri, tomorrow being Wednesday 8th November, 2023 advised Ndimo to cast their votes in favour of the ruling political party, APC.

He further stated that returning Uzodimma will enable the State to continue to enjoy the maximum cooperation from the APC led Federal Government and by extension the entire South East region, that is in dire need of federal presence for their collective growth and development.
