COVID-19: Let’s be guided by expert and professional directives, Dr. Okwenna tasks Ndi Anambra

As the World Heath Organization (WHO) has described Coronavirus as global pandemic, the former Commissioner for Environment, Mineral Resources, Science and Technology in Alhambra State, Dr. Ifedi Okwenna, has tasked people in the state to maintain the government health agencies directives, in other to remain safe throughout the global health menace occasioned by COVID-19.

In a press statement signed by his Senior Media Aide, Iphy Osadebe, the governorship hopeful urged Ndi-Anambra to always wash their hands with soap and use hand sanitizer regularly, avoid hand-shake, crowded places, and maintain reasonable social distance as prescribed in their relationship with one another.

He urged them not to spread panic, but to spread the information that will help cub the severity of the deadly Virus.
Okwenna maintained further that the existence of Corona Virus is real and called for all hands to be on deck to ensure it’s kept off Anambra, as it spreads is in geometric proportion.

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant lauded the Anambra State government for coming up with a Public Health Advisory on Covid-19, and for the courage to shut down all schools and religious places till further notice.

The aspirant in the 2021 Anambra state gubernatorial election advised the government to invest in setting up well-equipped Diagnoatic Centre and to create Isolation Centers, should the deadly virus finds its way to the state.

He enjoined the state government to as matter of urgency, set funds aside for palliatives which may result from the attendant lockdown and paralysis of economic activities in the state.

The Ugwumba Osumenyi while praying to God to heal our land, enjoined the good people of Anambra State not to panic, but to observe every precautionary measures as stated in the Public Health Advisory.
